Terms & conditions
These terms govern your purchase of products and services from M & R 3D Printing. By placing an order, you agree to them.

1. Who we are
M & R 3D Printing is an Australian small business. ABN:40 315 690 814.
2. Orders
- Placing an order is your offer to buy. We accept by sending an order confirmation email.
- We may decline an order if we can't fulfil it (out of materials, ambiguous design, suspected fraud, etc.). If we decline after payment, we'll refund in full.
- Prices are in Australian dollars and include 10% GST where applicable.
- We can change prices at any time, but the price you saw at checkout is the price you pay for that order.
3. Payment
- Payment is required at the time of order (via Stripe, supporting cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay).
- We don't store full card numbers. See our Privacy Policy.
4. Custom 3D-printing jobs
When you upload a file or commission a custom design:
- You warrant that you own the intellectual property in the design, or have permission to have it printed. We won't print obviously trademarked or copyrighted material without proof of permission.
- 3D printing has tolerances. Layer lines, minor surface variation, and ±0.5mm dimensional accuracy are normal. If you need tighter tolerances, tell us before we print so we can adjust technique (or refer you to someone better suited).
- Material choice matters. PLA is not food-safe, dishwasher-safe, or UV-resistant. We'll advise on material suitability for your use case — but if you specify a material, you accept its limitations.
- Lead times are estimates. We work hard to hit them; we'll let you know if a job will run long.
- Approval before print. For larger custom jobs we'll send a render / sliced preview for approval. Once you approve, you accept the print as quoted.
5. Your statutory rights
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the products repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
See our Returns & refunds page for how we handle this in practice.
6. Shipping
See our Shipping & delivery page. Title and risk pass to you on delivery.
7. Liability
Subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, our liability for any claim is limited to (at our option):
- replacing the goods or supplying equivalent goods,
- repairing the goods, or
- refunding the price you paid.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost profits, lost data, business interruption) except where prohibited by law.
8. Intellectual property
- All site content (text, photos, product designs we created) is © M & R 3D Printing unless otherwise marked.
- You retain all intellectual property in files you upload for custom prints.
- We may keep a copy of your file for 90 days after printing for reorder convenience, then delete unless you ask us to keep it longer.
9. Privacy
See our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Both parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of NSW.
